I would like to transfer calls on my analog phones connected to my FXS ports to another phone. I've searched on Cisco.com and couldn't find anything. My current call flow has all incoming calls going to a wireless phone connected to an FXS port that has an ephone-dn assigned to it. I need to be able to transfer calls to another phone if needed. Thanks, Josh

Hook Flash
Hi Josh,
You've probably already figured out how to transfer calls on your analogue phone.
Just in case you haven't, I found an answer on a different forum: hook flash followed by the extension number.
I've tested it on a demo setup we have, and it works.

Code
I'm pretty sure there's a standard code for transferring calls on analogue devices....... can really remember what it is though...
Try *3 then the extension (I cant guarantee that this is right)

Hi,
I have the same setup as Josh, but can't figure out how to do the transfers.
Is there a feature code I need to enter on the analog phone?

I found that listof FAC's on cisco.com, and maybe I'm thick but how do I transfer a call?
The cordless phone will be used by the receptionist when she's away from her desk, and she needs to be able to transfer incoming calls.
Call Transfer with Analog Phone on FXS Port
Josh,
As I understand what you are saying, you are using a cordless analog phone to one of the FXS ports. They should be auto assigned an extension, and support call transfering to another extension.
It's not a technical answer, but under the Q.A of the UC500 on Cisco.com, has your answer:
Q. Does the Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series support SCCP on FXS ports?
A. Yes, the Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series supports SCCP on FXS ports that enable call features such as Call Transfer, Call Hold, 3-way conferencing, Call Pickup, etc.
Hope that helps.
