We have recently deployed a UC520 (32 user) system. We are running the Cisco 7971G phones, and are satisfied with the system, in general. However, we are experiencing an issue with the use of the CallConnector application from within Outlook 2007. When we select the 'Contacts' from the 'Unified CallConnector' Toolbar, nothing happens. All other buttons and dialing works as designed. Also, when we use the 'Unified CallConnector' from within IE, the 'Contacts' appear within a side toolbar, showing presence. We have not been able to locate anything, and we have sent logs to Cisco, thinking that we may have some Anti-virus filtering issues. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this? Thanks. |

Clicking on "contacts" from
Clicking on "contacts" from the toolbar launches the UCC contacts list. This list is empty by default. Click on your contacts within Outlook, then right click the contact and you will see the option to dial them.
What do you mean exactlyby not being able to locate anything? Are you referencing the presence features of UCC? If so, you need the UCC server in order to use the presence features.

Like Dapunisher says make sure you are on the correct tab within CONTACTS, or you will not see anything (unless you add them). Also make sure you have MAPI settings checked and authenticating properly. Then just right click on the contact in OUTLOOK and choose DIAL.
