Hello Team, My set up: FXO only, one line comes into the UC520. Incoming calls are directed to the 'operator' extension of 200. This is a shared line on all phones. When I push the button for shared line 200 on a phone, and then click on messages, the system will ask me for the ID and password. I put in the ID of 200 and press # as requested. I then put the password that I believe I configured for it, and it tells me wrong password. I have tried every password I configured on the system ... nothing works. Any thoughts on where I have gone wrong? MWI for shared lines and hunt groups. Any thoughts of how to set these up or see these? i have never been able to get MWI working for any extensions, let alone for the shared or hunt groups. Lastly, any good documentation for understanding how to use / value of pickup groups? Many thanks in advance. |

Many thanks
Sorry for the delayed response.
Many thanks for the guidance and direction.
I had the voicemail tied to a group, and added all users to that group. I have since deleted that group, and created a user / mailbox. We simply login w/ that user now.
MWI was not configured correctly. It was set to "subscribe notify". I changed it to "out calling" and now everything works.
Also, wanted to say thanks to this group for all the wondefull posts.
Kindest regards and thanks,
Andrew
Have you configured a
Have you configured a mailbox and user account on CUE for ext 200? Be sure you are setting the PIN and not the password, in CUE.
For the MWI take a look at the CME configuration guides, its outlined well. If you have chaged the system IP's from their defaults, that too could require a few changes that are burried and not obvious changes at first glance.
Pickup groups, take a look at the CME docs, it will walk through how they work.
