So I have started playing with the latest version of Cisco Configuration Professional. It is a free download for managing ISR Routers. I wish it worked on the UC520! It is a nice improvement on the Quick Config Tool used previously with ISR routers. The Quick Config Tool is still available but only supports Unified Communications Manager Express up to version 4.1. CCP is sort of a cross between QCT and the CCA tool used for the UC520. You can use it for initial config and ongoing maintenance from a GUI interface. CCP v1. 1 Feature Highlights: The CCP v1.1 features major enhancements to support configuration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CUCME) and Cisco Unity Express (CUE) on the ISRs. Some of the feature highlights in this release include: Voice: Voice system features - Paging groups, adhoc conferencing, intercom, after hours, call park Voicemail - Voicemail initialization, mailbox options PSTN trunks - T1-PRI, single-line trunks (BRI, DID, and FXO) Dial plan - Class of restriction, incoming/outgoing dial plans, call and caller ID blocking Multisite deployment - H.323 and SIP voice-over-IP (VoIP) parameters, remote worker (codec and CIPC Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) - MGCP or SIP or H.323 protocol support Security: Content filtering – configuration of content filtering to permit or deny URLs (based on categories configured in a third-party database) or to block any keywords or specific domains Wireless: Wireless Access Point Support – Support for the wireless Access Point on the 86x and 88x series ISRs Useful Links: CCP v1.1 is available today as a free download for all ISRs (800, 1800, 2800, 3800) no support for the UC500!?! RE: 7921s on UC520
If you have a 48 user license then you can connect up to 48 7921's
If you are buying small business wireless controllers - look at the limitations on the data sheets for those controllers.
7921s on UC520
What is the max # of 7921's we can connect to a 48 user UC520?
In other words, we need to connect 11 7921's to a UC520, can this be done? We will get 2 WLAN controllers and AP's as needed for this design.
Thanks - John
