Configuring CME in UC520 and 2851 to make calls between two sites

I have a VPN up between UC520 and ISR2851. Site to site ping tests between telephony VLANs are successful but I can't make a phone call. I had created simple dial-peers in both sides, but when I try a call I can't see any traffic through VPN tunnel.
How can I troubleshoot this?

Check your dial peers to

Check your dial peers to insure that both ends are using the same codec and voip protocol (SIP, H323). Also, to get it up and running I'd start with simple GRE tunnels and once its working add IPSEC to your GRE tunnels if you need it encrypted.
