Direct Numbers

Hi all,

I have connected my UC500 to an E1 line with 32 PSTN Numbers. All the configuration is working well. I need only just to direct particular numbers from the E1 Numbers to their corresponding extensions, for example:

If the incoming call number is 5555551 forward it to the extension 201,
If the incoming call number is 5555552 forward it to the extension 202,
If the incoming call number is 5555552 forward it to the extension 202,
........ and so on.

Please any one can help.

sorry, but this command "debug vpm signal" is not exist.
I discovered that what I need in my problem is a translation rule.

I might have seen your question on NetPos's website.

Do you have E1 R2? Do you know how many DID digits is telco sending ?

You can also check "debug vpm signal" to see how many DID digits you are receiving with E1 R2.

Hi,

I didn't ask this before, and it is the first time I put a subject in this site hopefully to be helped. I tried to do the command "debug isdn q931" and it showed me that that command doesn't exist, the other command "term mon" is taken but without any effect. So please advice.

You have been told to look at the format used by you telco using "debug isdn q931" and "term mon". Have you done that ?
