Connect a Siemens Gigaset SIP to the UC500
Hi everybody,
I have a problem. I cannot register a Siemens Gigaset C470 IP to the UC500. When I use the same sip authentication login onto a Softphone or Cisco IP phone => it works.
Below the debug information when I want register the Siemens Gigaset to the UC500.

Can somebody explains whats going wrong?
Best regards, Wim
i had quiet a fight with this configuration. i think issue is C470 that is doing something wrong through the authorization process.
however i made a setup that fixed the issue - (you will require a server machine to go forward)
1) download and install 3cx - free phone switch
2) on uc500
* create a voice register pool / voice register dn pair (this is to allow 3cx register in uc500 as a client with number greater than 10000
* create dial-peer pointing towards 3cx
* create ephone-dn with neede extention (in my case - 119)
3) on 3cx
* create an extention with number you need (should match dial-peer)
* create trunk pointing to uc500
all works fine.
uc500 code
voice register dn 9 number 10000 no-regvoice register pool 1 id mac xxxx.xxxx.xxxx number 1 dn 9 dtmf-relay rtp-nte sip-notify voice-class codec 1 username XXXXX password XXXXXXXvoice class codec 1 codec preference 1 ilbc codec preference 3 g729r8 codec preference 4 g726r16dial-peer voice 9205 voip destination-pattern 119$ <---- ext # session protocol sipv2 session target ipv4:192.168.11.200 <---- 3cx address voice-class codec 1 dtmf-relay rtp-nte no vadephone-dn 112 description *** gigaset via 3cx *** number 119

Hi,
I'm having the same issue with the message "Provider registration failed". My configuration is working with SP922 linksys phones in SIP and also with softphone x-lite.
I can make outbound call from the siemens C470 but It does not register and incoming call are not working.
Any Ideas ?
Thks,
