New to CME. Help setting up 7965

Existing VoIP system. UC520 working smoothly. A new 7965 (out of the box) replacing a 7945.
This is what I currently have setup on the working phone:
ephone 13
device-security-mode none
video
mac-address ABCD.ABCD.ABCD
ephone-template 1
username "receptionist" password 12345
type 7945
button 1:17 2:2
I am replacing this phone with a 7965 out of the box. Here is what I'm planning to do:
ephone 13
device-security-mode none
video
mac-address XXXX.XXXX.XXXX
ephone-template 1
username "receptionist" password 12345
type 7965
button 1:17 2:12 3:15 4:19
XXXX.XXXX.XXXX will be the new phone's MAC address.
1:17 is the main number I want assigned to the phone (same as it is with the old phone).
The other buttons are for other DN's that the receptionist needs access to.
Is this battle-plan correct? How does one setup a 7965 right out of the box? Anything I need to know before booting it up on the network?
Also, 4290 is the main company number. How do I make sure 4290 rings on this new phone? (DN 17 is extension 4295. i see no DN setup for 4290, only " rule 5 /######4290/ /8200/" in "voice translation-rule 1")
Let me know if or which parts of the config are needed if you need more info.
Thanks for any help! Much appreciated!
I've been reading these forums and PDF's out the yang trying to do a crash course in CME.

Step 1 done, step 2?
Ok, so my config was correct. I have the 7965 successfully replacing the 7945.
My only task now is to get the 4290 extension ringing here, at the receptionist line.
Right now, if you dial the company line (###-###-4290), it goes to a voice menu where you hit 1 for reception, 2 for Blahblah.
Is it possible to get 4290 to ring at the receptionist DN (4295) by default? And if the receptionist isn't at the desk, a way to forward the call back to the menu?
What am I looking for in the running-config?
