I read this post and after playing with 7965 phones on Call Manager 6, I can say that the G.722 codec used for "High Def" Calls and the upgraded speakers and Mics on the Cisco 7965 phones are worth it!

Call Manager Express 4.3/7.0 now supports G.722 and iLBC codecs for voice. I'm looking forward to the next release for the UC500!
