Incoming Line Roll Over on Phones that don't have Overlay of FXO Lines

Cisco IOS: UC500-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M
Software Version: 12.4(11)XW6 / CME 4.2(0)

I have 3 phones setup like the forum example "Configuration Example - Ring a group of phones and then autoattendant if no answer" There are 3 FXOs that the telco will have in a huntgroup, they will be plugged into FXO 0/1/0, 0/1/1, and 0/1/2.

My question: I have 2 other phones that want to be able to pickup a ringing line of one of the incoming FXO lines in the telco huntgroup if the intial 3 phones cannot pickup the line because they are on the phone or away from their desk. But they don't want to hear the phone ring all the time only when the other 3 phones are not available. How do I accomplish this scenario? I know you can do a huntgroup but if all 3 of the main phones that are set with overlays are off-hook then the 2 phones that do not want to hear the phone ring will not know that the phone needs to be answered.

Thanks for the help,

Brian

Can you please expand

Like brianmorrison, I want anyone in the office to be able to pickup an incoming call. We have 12 analog on the FXO.

Only 4 phones ring for incoming. But it would be nice to configure button 6 on our 7960 to Answer any Incoming lines.

In Cisco Configuration Assistant Ver 2.0, under Voice/ User Extentions/ I created a Button: 6, Type: Share, Extension: 1111, Label: Answer Incoming.

When I go to the hunt group to configure the shared line, it doesn't show up. Can you please give the steps in more detail.

***UPDATE 5/3/09. I will just use GPickUp (Group PickUp).
Under the Cisco Configuration Assistant 2.0, I had to go to Telephony/ Phone Groups/ Pickup Groups. I added all our incoming telephone lines to the Members area. As long as you only have 1 group, you just have to hit GPickUp once to pickup an incoming line.

You just need call-forward

Try mapping a shared / overlaid line to the 2 phones that dont want to ring all the time.

On your hunt-group or incoming lines, configure the call-forward on busy & no answer to point to the new shared line.
