My system seems to have a loud clank or chunk on all call pickups and disconnects outward bound from our office as soon as the other party answers or hangs up the call... Anyone else experiencing this? |

Works fine here
It's fine with mine...
Pickups and Discos
It also only seems to be on calls orginating form the office outside of the office. Calls inside the office are smooth, calls comming into the office are smooth... This would lead me to believe it's something to do with our telco, not sure.
What type of trunk are you
What type of trunk are you using?
Trunk Type
From our Nuvox Demarc to the CO it's IP based, but we are handed off single analog POTs lines that we have hooked up to FXO ports on the UC520 through a punch down block. Is that what you are after?
Yup. Now plug an analog phone in
Have you tried plugging the line of the punch down into a cheap analog phone rather than your FXO port? That way you could test calls and see if it is a provider issue and not your UC520.
Analog phone
Indeed, it follows the POTS lines, NOT the UC520... Thanks!
