Incoming call only rings 3 times...maybe 10 seconds and then goes to voice mail. When dialing a new phone number if you hesitate for 3 seconds it loses the call and beeps at you. Does anyone know how to do this and change the timeouts of rings on a per phone basis. I have now figured this out. As the gentalmen stated below you can change the timeout for going to voice mail. That is only for the amount of rings when you are not on the phone. You can change the amount of time that the system waits for a user to enter the phone number (time between digits) This is called the: Timeouts interdigit which is under the telephony-service. It looks like You can change this to what you want as example "timeouts interdigit 6" but please be careful. It is recomended to teach your users to dial the number first and then pick up the phone and press dial than to change this timeout. This timeout can slow the system down as it will wait 3sec or whatever you set it to between each digit dialed. Last you cannot change the timeout when a user is on the phone and it goes to voicemail right away. |

Timeouts
This is a command in the ephone-dn XX
" call-forward noan 999 timeout 10"
The timeout is in second, 20 second roughly equals 5 rings.
